As a self-published author, marketing your book can be a challenging task. However, with the right approach, it can help you succeed in your efforts to not only sell your book but to establish yourself as an author. In this blog, I will go over some tips to help you self-promote your book and some services I would recommend as well to help you succeed.
As a book cover designer, I have had the privilege of working with many self-published authors, and I have seen firsthand what has worked for my clients.
After all, EIGHT of the book covers we have designed covers for have made Amazon Bestseller titles, and some without any prior marketing in the most competitive categories and markets. For example, Time Noir by David Raymond was in the #1 spot in New Releases in the US for over a month. The Naidisbo by Megan Wood landed on the coveted #1 spot while still on pre-sale! So, I can’t really express its importance, but for now. let’s go over some marketing ideas that have helped my clients and you can easily do them yourself.

Platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn are excellent ways to connect with potential readers. Share information about your book, including links to your website and where readers can purchase your book. Follow other authors for tips on what you can do to generate and grow your audience and convert them into buyers.
